Bought because my wrist would be in pain by the end of the work week. After a month of use the gel wrist-rest has caused unwanted stress on my forearm. Now that I know what is causing my arm pain I turned the pad around and I'm back to square one. Would not recommend, I'll just have to put up with wrist pain.

I'm not sure why, but the pad's surface doesn't work well with an optical mouse. It will not allow for the cursor's smooth movement, it keeps hanging up and you have to keep moving it around until it starts up again. The wrist rest is just OK, not big enough JMHO on that part. As far as how the mouse interacts with this mouse pad, absolutely horrible.

Starts off great, but over time (literally a month or two) with constant use at work, the gel doesn't recover and there's a formed "dent" that becomes increasingly uncomfortable on your wrist. Suggest another product.

I have had this mouse pad since 2006. Its still in perfect working condition. I am going to pick up a few more for my son who is just starting to use a mouse and one for my home. I might get a few for Christmas gifts.
Many have wrist trouble from not providing the proper support.
This product is a MUST HAVE!
The soft gel is just enough support to keep wrist from hurting.
Made very well and durable for many YEARS of use.
